The Tasman, a Luxury Collection Hotel, has opened LUMINA, a new event space in Parliament Square overlooking Hobart's waterfront. The pillar-free venue is built from cantilevered glulam beams in Tasmanian plantation oak, the largest weighing four tonnes. LUMINA holds up to 180 guests theatre style, 190 for a gala dinner or 220 standing, suited to conferences, incentive groups, weddings and celebrations. Menus draw on the Tasman's Tasmanian producer relationships.
