Tasmanian Wild Seafood Adventures have launched an exciting new product: the Sea to Sky Night Cruise. 

This 2 hour evening journey combines Tasmania's pristine waters with its world-renowned dark night skies. The experience offers visitors a unique opportunity to witness the island's natural beauty from an entirely new perspective, moving beyond traditional daytime activities to explore the mysteries that emerge after sunset. 

Guests are transferred from Elizabeth St Pier in Hobart's CBD to Margate Marina where they board a spacious catamaran and are welcomed with a warm beverage. As they cruise along the d’Entrecasteaux Channel, visitors enjoy a carefully curated menu featuring hot soup, Tasmania's famous scallop pies, and freshly baked cake. Hotel pickup and return services are included.  

The experience is guided by multigenerational commercial fishermen and women who share captivating stories about their family's history and traditional navigation techniques. The cruise incorporates local indigenous culture through storytelling that reveals how these ancient skies and waters have been intertwined with traditions for centuries.  

From this unparalleled vantage point, with minimal light pollution, guests may witness the magnificent Aurora Australis, fascinating sea creatures including the majestic seven-gilled shark, unique nocturnal fish species, dazzling constellations and possibly even the phenomenon of bioluminescence.
