Saffire Freycinet has been promoted to Three Michelin Keys in the 2026 Global Michelin Keys Selection, recognising what Michelin calls an extraordinary stay. Introduced in 2024 as the hotel equivalent of the Michelin Star, the Key is awarded across three tiers, with Three Keys the highest. It becomes only the third Australian property to reach this level, joining Southern Ocean Lodge and Lizard Island Resort, and one of just 155 hotels worldwide to hold the top rating.
