NRMA Completes First Stage of Upgrades to Tasmania’s Strahan Village

NRMA Parks and Resorts has revealed significant upgrades to the harbour view accommodation and dining offering at Strahan Village on Tasmania’s West Coast, with the works completed to date just the first stage in a series of planned refurbishments which will continue to roll out throughout 2024.

Included in the newly completed works are extensive refurbishments to the hilltop area of the hotel, where all 35 rooms feature views overlooking Macquarie Harbour and have been completely renovated with a contemporary look and feel.

Each of the generously sized hotel rooms has been repainted and recarpeted and now feature new beds, bedding, lounges and bathrooms as well as minibars stocked with Tasmanian drinks and snacks.

The popular View42 restaurant and bar have also undergone a refurbishment to bring a modern touch to the dining area and a new experience this summer for guests at the bar. Coming soon is new tapas style bar menu, contemporary cocktails and an excellent list of Tasmanian wines. A refurbed conference room offers a flexible fit out to accommodate a range of meetings and either cocktail-style or sit-down dining events.

NRMA Parks and Resorts Chief Executive Officer Paul Davies said the newly renovated hotel and restaurant at Strahan Village were perfectly timed to welcome in the summer season on the West Coast of Tasmania.
