Tassie Specialist Conference

Since 2013, Tourism Tasmania has hosted qualified Tassie specialists on an exciting, all-inclusive two-day weekend conference in Hobart.

This annual conference gives engaged Tasmanian travel sellers the opportunity to further their knowledge of Tasmania to better sell the destination.

The program includes guest speaker sessions, a trade workshop with Tasmanian operators and a chance to participate in one of five famil programs.

The Tassie Specialist Conference 2017 will run from 22-24 September.

What others have to say

See what some of our attendees had to say about our 2015 conference:

"A great place to network with suppliers and fellow specialists. Had a fabulous time and learned a great deal. Tassie is one of my favourite destinations and the more I know about it, the more I can sell".

Josie Hanney, Goldman Travel Corporation.

"A big "Thank You" to Tourism Tasmania for inviting me on the 2015 Tassie Specialist Conference. I can now sell Tassie in confidence. I have learned so much on events, places to stay, places to visit and especially places to dine. Well done and I would highly recommend agents complete the Tassie Specialist training so they too can experience this wonderful state".

Cathy Moir, TravelManagers.

"If you're not a Tassie Specialist then you are doing yourself and your clients a disservice. Grab the opportunity to be part of the Tassie Specialist Conference as everyone wins: You will be thankful for the fun and increased knowledge (especially if you get on a famil), your clients will be thankful that you encouraged them to spend some time in Tassie, and Tasmania will be thankful for the increased trade".

Andrew Sullivan, The Don't Forget Travel Group
