Tassie Specialist Conference

Every two years Tourism Tasmania hosts qualified Tassie specialists on an exciting, all-inclusive two-day weekend conference in Hobart.

The conference gives engaged Tasmanian travel sellers the opportunity to further their knowledge of Tasmania to better sell the destination.

The program includes guest speaker sessions, a trade workshop with Tasmanian operators and a chance to participate in one of five famil programs.

The Tassie Specialist Conference and the Talkabout Tasmania Roadshow are held on alternate years with the next Tassie Specialist Conference taking place in 2018. To find more about the 2017 event see Talkabout Tasmania Roadshow.

What others have to say

See what some of our attendees had to say about previous conferences:

“Absolutely loved it! Thank you again for having me! I feel even more passionate about Tasmania than I did before, and I'm armed with the skills I need to sell the right region to the right people! Thank you so much, I love Tasmania! <3”

Brittany Lanyon, Flight Centre

"The Tassie Specialist Conference is 100% a Must Do to expand your knowledge about all the products on offer but also to get a feel for how great all the locals are and how beautiful the island is."

Aimee Ellman-Brown, ANZCRO

"If you're not a Tassie Specialist then you are doing yourself and your clients a disservice. Grab the opportunity to be part of the Tassie Specialist Conference as everyone wins: You will be thankful for the fun and increased knowledge (especially if you get on a famil), your clients will be thankful that you encouraged them to spend some time in Tassie, and Tasmania will be thankful for the increased  trade".

Andrew Sullivan, The Don't Forget Travel Group
